Antineutrino

Hey all,

I am Antineutrino, a 21 year old college student from the San Francisco area, studying computer science.

My real name is Elliot, and in most games I take the name Positron, which was already taken when I started Granado Espada a bit over a year ago. You are welcome to call me by any name or abbreviation, although I don't like to be called "Pos" due to the English slang acronym associated with it. "Posi" is fine and actually one of my favorite nicknames, or you can just continue calling me Anti as most of you have done.

My raison d'etre for Granado Espada used to be to become the best player I could without using the cash shop at all, and while I still have not used the cash shop, I no longer care about being elite. I love to improve my characters and I'm somewhat of a perfectionist; you may have heard me say that I have every stance on all of my characters maxed, even though I almost never use them... to me it just feels wrong to not have them maxed out.

At the time of this writing, I have 10 veteran characters, and they actually all get used quite a bit, although my favorite characters by a longshot have been Adelina Esperanza and Brunie Etienne. My first team to Veteran was Neutrino (Fighter M), Positron (Wizard M), and Muon (Scout M), but since then I have added Proton (Musketeer M) in place of Positron in my "default" team that I take when I just want to be able to kill whatever is thrown at me; I find it to be a spectacular team for just about anything.

I love to do quests and kill bosses. Anything PvE is for me. PvP is not only not my specialty--I downright hate participating in it--but anything is fun with friends.

When Naze approached me asking to start Innocence, I thought it was a great idea, since I had just been in Type-Moon and coming off a 5-month break from the game. I hadn't played that much because my "main" game (if you can call it that) is Final Fantasy XI, which I've been playing since quitting Ragnarok Online about 5 years ago. The problem with Final Fantasy XI is the sheer amount of time required to do events, so I've been playing it very little.

On that note, I am *extremely* serious about my schoolwork. You may have noticed that even on Christmas break I have been mostly AFK when I'm online, since I am very prone to addiction and don't want to let myself get back into playing 6+ hours a day like I used to do with FFXI. I have never been a straight 'A' student but I have always been close, and I've been working very, very hard to just pull it off once before I'm done with my education. And I'm no fool; graduate school isn't going to let me get away that easy, assuming I even get in.

I'm just about always available to help out with leveling, quests, or anything else, and I love to buy, sell, and trade items, so feel free to contact me about either at any time. Do be aware that I like to speak and type as precisely as possible because I hate euphemisms; that doesn't mean that I hate you if your English is not perfect. It means I hate you if you don't try.

Consequently, I've been trying to learn Japanese for about the last five years, but due to a lack of available time, it has been going rather poorly. I frequently get praised by my family and friends for my Japanese speech, but that's mainly because I put a lot of effort into getting the pronunciation right--the fact is that my vocabulary in Japanese is pitifully small and if I actually visited Japan I'd be limited to about asking where the bathroom and the train station are. That is a failure of mine that hurts me very deeply. If any of you know someone who is willing to practice writing or speaking Japanese with me, I'd love to be introduced.

At this point I'm just rambling into a wall of text, so I'll wrap up by saying thank you everyone for helping build this Clan together, and I'd love to get to talk to and play with all of you.

~Antineutrino
